Youth (K–8) Dual Format
Weights vary by event.
Roster: 18–20 athletes (includes alternates).
Middle School Dual Format
- Weights are set by event hosts; we’ll publish exact classes when events post.
- Roster: 18–20 athletes (includes alternates).
High School / Varsity Dual Format
- Weights follow NFHS / state guidelines for the season.
- Roster: 14 starters plus alternates.
Selection & Tryouts
How Selection Works
- Coach evaluation at practices and local events.

- Family availability and travel commitment.
We may carry alternates; starters can change based on matchups, performance, and event needs.

Final dates and rosters are posted 2–3 weeks before each event once details are confirmed.
Logistics
- Families handle travel and lodging unless otherwise noted.
- Coaches publish weigh-in times, venue rules, and arrival expectations for each event.
- Team warm-ups, check-ins, and post-dual meetings are required.
Fees, Scholarships & Policies
Team Fees
- Per-event team fee (covers entry and coach expenses).
- Uniform package if required by the event.
- AAU / state membership card if applicable.
Exact amounts vary by event—fees are posted with each roster announcement.
Scholarships / Assistance
We don’t want cost to bench a wrestler. If assistance is needed, reach out privately and we’ll see what options are available.

Gear Checklist
- Competition singlet (Mat Clash design for that season).
- Wrestling shoes.
- Headgear (as required by event).
Extras: warm-up hoodie/pants, extra socks, tape, snacks, and water/electrolytes are always recommended.

When the store is live, you’ll see your season’s package (singlet, hoodie, joggers, and more) inside the Gear section.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get on a dual roster?
Train consistently, communicate travel availability, and talk with coaches. Rosters are built based on weight balance, performance, and event needs.
Are weight classes exact?
We follow event-posted weights. If your wrestler is close to a cut-off, coaches will help decide the best fit and strategy.
Do I need AAU or other membership cards?
Yes, if the host requires it. We’ll list the required membership info with each event announcement.
