Starting youth wrestling in Chattanooga should not feel confusing. Families need to know where beginners can train, what season to join, what to bring, and whether the program fits their child.
The MAT CLASH Training Center gives young wrestlers a year round path to learn the sport, improve their skills, and grow inside a community built on faith and hard work.
Where MAT CLASH trains
Practices are held at East Ridge High School, 4320 Bennett Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37412.
When can a child begin?
Wrestlers can begin in the AAU and Youth program as young as five years old. Beginners are welcome. Athletes do not need previous wrestling experience before attending.

What makes the room different
MAT CLASH is not built around wins and losses alone. Wrestlers are taught to work hard, trust the process, support their teammates, and keep showing up. The club talks about God, prays together, and embraces Philippians 4:13 as its motto.
We want athletes to become better wrestlers, but we also want them to become more disciplined, confident, resilient, and prepared for life.
